Biography

I am Yanxuan Wu (吴焱煊). I got a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Finance, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2023. After that, I worked as a Tutor at NewChannel, focusing on 1v1 IELTS Teaching. In parallel, I have been working on research project with Prof.Shunyuan Zhang (Harvard Business School).

Research Project with Prof. Shunyuan Zhang from Harvard Business School

  • Interviewed platforms, brands, and influencers about their perspectives on marketing activities before and after a campaign.
  • Reviewed literature and summarized relevant theories to explain goal alignment between platform, influencer, and brand.
  • Coded interview data and extracted insights, leading to a new theory about firm-influencer matching with the platform as a key mediator.

  • Collected data from 1700+ MBA students to understand differences in perceptions of the external environment.
